Preparing For Your Move:

• If you are packing yourself, start as soon as you can, and certainly no later
• Use a good quality strength box for packing and always use enough white paper or bubble wrap to wrap contents.
• Make sure all cartons are sealed before collection

Choosing a removal company:  Referrals are always a great start. There are lots of "fly by night" operators out there who will not be properly equipped, to make sure that your furniture is transported safely. Do they have enclosed vans? Do they have the correct amount of blankets per cubic foot of furniture? Is there proper supervision and do they have qualified staff

Packing Plates: Always pack dinner plates upright on their side. Plates should never be packed flat, as plates on their edge can sustain a lot more pressure.

Colour Coding: A great way to help with a smooth move is to use coloured stickers on your boxes. This really helps the staff to identify each area.
